Our Sustainable Approach
How can we reduce the damage we cause to
our ecosystem while traveling?
"Travel brings us up close to some of our planet’s most stunning natural wonders and connects us with cultures around the globe. It also has the power to change places and the lives of the people who live there."
Almost everyone loves traveling. New technologies and freedom of movement have made traveling easier, faster and cheaper. Such a rapid industry growth always comes with consequences for our planet. Impacts caused by uncontrollable tourism on natural resources, consumption patterns, pollution and social systems are more apparent than ever.
Every time you fly on a plane, stay in a hotel, ride in a taxi, or create waste, carbon emissions are being generated. While there are many ways that you can and should minimize your carbon footprint while traveling – from turning off the air conditioner to renting electric vehicles – no matter how sustainable your travel habits are, certain carbon emissions are unavoidable.
But sustainability isn’t just about climate change. Sustainable tourism is defined by the UN World Tourism Organisation as “Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities”. A functioning tourism industry relies on the natural environment, but also the wellbeing of the community, businesses and people.
How can we achieve the right balance between growth and sustainability? How can we reduce the damage we cause to our ecosystem while traveling? How can the industry implement a responsible planning to survive itself but also to change the habits of the traveler?
As Travel Agents we have the responsibility and the opportunity to make sustainably conscious choices around where we send our customers, what businesses we choose to use in the local area and the information we provide our customers with before they go.
Tourism is responsible for roughly 8% of the world’s carbon emissions, making it a significant contributor to climate change...
How can we help reducing the environmental impact that we and our customers make on our Road Trip Adventures?
We only work with local travel suppliers that care about the impact they have on their environment & communities, keeping the profit in the community, which will both ensure that the destination continues to exist and the local community can prosper.
We encourage our customers to reduce their waste, and carry portable water filters to avoid the use of plastic bottles.
We also encourage using electronic ticket & check-in systems rather than print resources.
We educate our customers about the culture of the place they are visiting, suggesting that they buy locally made products.
We make sure our customers have access to sustainable activities such as cycle tours, wildlife sanctuaries while they are there and more; or driving with an electric car.
Carbon offsetting allows us to compensate for the carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions we produce by reducing emissions somewhere else. To compensate for our travel footprint, we purchase carbon offset credits equivalent to the amount of emissions we were responsible for. We invest our credits in certified carbon reduction projects, providing benefits that go beyond carbon reduction, such as protecting forests and the biodiversity within, or creating opportunities for communities to improve their livelihoods and health.
Carbon Offsets
Today more than ever, and especially as Travel agents, we have a responsibility towards the environment and offering more sustainable travel choices to our clients. We are big road tripping fans and decided to find ways to develop Green Road Trip Adventures using electric cars throughout the journey.

Road Trips
Whether you’re trying to go green or want something new, an Electric Road Trip is the perfect adventure for travellers who love a challenge. So, as the stars align for an electrically charged getaway, be part of a group of pioneers hitting the road without the drone of a gas-guzzling engine.
It is general consensus that while EVs (Electric Vehicles) may not be truly "zero emission" vehicles, they are still on the whole better for the environment and for the climate than conventional vehicles.
We need to revolutionize the way we travel. It is with this in mind that we have developed unique electric road trip adventures, which we hope will showcase the power and capabilities of electric cars through challenging environments and over large distances to prove the infrastructure is in place for worry free electric green travel. The key in the coming years will be figuring out how to make sure these new vehicles can become even more eco-friendly, and we hope that by promoting such way of travel, we will contribute positively to the adoption of electric vehicles.
EV drivers often experience ‘range anxiety’: the fear of being too far away from a charging station. While that’s natural, even among the experienced, once you turn that anxiety into the fuel for your trip, the thrill of the charging chase can begin, even along a scenic detour.
EV road-tripping will force you to stop and smell the roses, so ignore anyone who tells you this is a downside. In reality, this presents the perfect opportunity to explore someplace you may never have stopped if a petrol station was handy. Your EV will make you a new kind of adventurer – embrace it.
Planning for an EV adventure is a challenge that comes with its own rewards. We have thought of all the details, and will help you get behind the wheel of an EV! Get ready to joining a community ready to explore the world in a new way!
